ITCL Technological Demonstrator
Burgos.
Demonstrator number 17

Description
The demonstrator uses artificial vision and intelligence technologies to identify Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in work environments. It works in real time and is designed to operate in various lighting conditions and backgrounds, ensuring the accurate detection of helmets, gloves, vests and boots, thus improving the safety and well-being of workers.

Innovative aspects
- Use of Deep learning for real-time detections, which improves accuracy and speed compared to previous versions.
- Training with a diversified dataset, including images from controlled environments and the Internet, allowing better generalization to various work environments.
- Implementation of tracking models to maintain constant detection of PPE, reducing errors due to temporary omissions.
ITCL is a founder member of the DIHBU.
Pilot implementations
Pilot tests have been carried out in controlled and simulated environments to calibrate and validate the technology prior to its full implementation.
