The aim of this initiative is to support the deployment or upgrade of backbone networks as part of the Digital Global Gateway Strategy of the EU.\n  \n  \nThe session will begin with an introduction by Eva Zandonella\, Policy Analyst and Coordinator at DG REGIO\, who will discuss the EU’s engagement with OCTs and highlight the importance of connectivity for these regions.
